Sleep and health data
COROS serves sleep, HRV, stress and daily health through a second door: its MCP server. Until it is connected, the Sleep screen says Sleep needs MCP and Coach cannot read your nights.
Connect it
- Open Settings → Connections → MCP Servers → Manage.
- Find COROS in the list and press Connect.
- Your browser opens COROS’s own sign-in page, on your account’s region, with your email filled in. Type your password there once and allow access.
That is all. The app reads your nights from then on, and Coach can read them too.
What you get
- Every night and nap: stages, time asleep, the sleep window and wake-ups.
- Across the night: heart rate, HRV and stress.
- By day: steps, exercise minutes and stress by the hour, which Coach reads beside your training load.
Kept past nine weeks
COROS keeps about nine weeks of sleep. Heracles Records keeps every night it has read on your computer, so the longer you use it, the longer your history. Cerberus, the sleep labour in the Hall of Records, counts nights from that history.
If it stops working
A server that is connected but does not answer shows as COROS MCP unreachable. That is COROS’s side or your connection, not a setting: try again later. Disconnecting and connecting again in MCP Servers is the fix for a sign-in COROS no longer accepts.
Other servers
MCP Servers also offers Strava and Freddy under Quick connect, and lets you add a server of your own. Coach can use their tools in a conversation. A server other than COROS is withheld from any conversation that switches off one of its sources, since the app cannot tell what that server reads.
